Sources & confidence
The compact evidence ledger behind this Project Exhibitionist guide, including current facts, historical developer statements, conflicts, and open questions.
S001 · Steam app metadata — confirmed
Official Project Exhibitionist Steam page and metadata. Used for App ID 4688700, developer and publisher, October 27, 2026 release date, current release state, Windows platform, price snapshot, genres, languages, achievements, features, and PC requirements. Checked October 28, 2026.
S002 · Joysticky Labs on itch.io — confirmed
Official developer project page. Used for the free `V0.0.1-alpha` demo label, external mirror choices, extraction and executable instructions, and the stated purpose as a limited performance test. Its “Steam soon” wording conflicts with newer Steam metadata and is treated as stale.
S003 · Developer gameplay reply — attributed
Joysticky Labs’ gameplay explanation. Used for the adult-roguelike description, distance objective, procedural full map, points of interest, arrest and sanity failure conditions, and limited demo map. It is a direct developer statement but remains a dated post.
S004 · Demo camera thread — scoped report
Player symptom report and Joysticky Labs’ response. Used only for the pre-release demo camera-spinning diagnosis. It is not presented as a verified full-release bug or a promise of current controller support.
Open research questions
Creative-mode unlock steps, the exact starting-house exit sequence, controller support in the released build, and version-matched progression details need newer official or reproducible evidence. Corrections should include a URL, build version, date, and exact observed steps.
